Seeds of Rape Demo Repress is almost OOP. 5 copies remain. Demo 7"? Who wants to put it out?

C/S is about to drop a winter formal cassette with unreleased material that's been done dating back to the beginning of the year, actually there's stuff thats older than that too. Limited press, so if the regular releases end up coming out it won't be battling sales. Not that raw grindcore yields high sales anyways. I do this shit for fun. Stay tuned, art is almost done.

I have officially joined No Comply. Makes me wish i skateboarded more. Or at all really. Split with Suppression should be out relatively soon. My drums are done, waiting on the dudes to shred over em.

I also have started a new band called Inhabitants involving a bunch of really good dudes I've encountered over the last handful of years. So far the tracks sound fucking insane, and thats just bounced back and forth between me and the guitar player. Can't wait to hear once the rest is over it. Not trying to name names (Seinfeld reference!) but it involves myself, a dude in Texas, a Bay Area dude, a dude in Chicago, and a dude in Massachusetts. Going to turn the Grindcore world on it's head. Or it's axis. Ha ha ha ha ha...

Slated releases always fall by the wayside. I'm in talks with a good friend on doing an actual label, with effort and ingenuity. Stay tuned. Next year proves to offer some fucking fantastic shit.

It's official: Seeds of Rape is changing their name. Narrow minded people choose to conjure up their own loathsome perception of it,so to clarify to Pavlov's Dogs we have added "God's America" to the name. If you are completely turned off to the fact that rape is disgusting and will not listen to us,call us God's America. If you think those people are lame and want to continue calling us Seeds of Rape,than please do. If you want to make it a mouthful,try God's America AKA The Seeds Of Rape. There will be shirt designs for all three names,so choose your favorite. Out before the Coke Bust show if we're lucky. Demo repress is down to halfway,after that I'm not touching it. Put it out if you want,we're not.

Cogs and Sprockets will have a tape with new exclusive songs,old songs,unreleased songs out real soon. Limited run to 35 or 40 copies. To tide you over until the God Harvest/The Oily Menace/Lt. Dan/Zombie handsomE/Scalped/whomever splits come out.

The Bagheads demo is being uploaded to Bandcamp. No need to put it out,it's not like anyone bought the Elderly Couple tape. Most were given away. If you dig on harsh noisegrind and have interest in putting it out,hit me up.

Don Garnelli's "Grindcore//Death" is being talked about being released.

A project involving a certain D. Rainwater and J. Randall and myself is in the works.

Everything else in the last flyer won't be worried about. Devout fans of M. Willenholly will be pleased to know that he is working hard on doing at the very least an EP of material. Featuring production from Himself,Jumbled,and others.

The first press of Seeds Of Rape's gnarly Demo/Self Titled tape is almost OOP,thanks in great part to Jay Randall's Grindcore Karaoke label. Currently ranked third in popularity on Bandcamp (at least in the power violence category)! There's a few select places that have copies (we're talking one,if not two) around the internet,but if you miss out on those there will be a second press about to be released. Be on the lookout for that!

In tragic news,EOD was sadly put down in recent times. Just with any euthanizing,it hurts the family to even think about this. Maybe soon enough I can collect the ashes and put it in an urn for you guys to hear.

Cogs And Sprockets has been notified that a split with Lt. Dan is going to come out soon. OH YES.

In C/S news,the split with Zombie handsomE will be out momentarily. 15 songs,including some recordings "in the tradition of" great classic noisecore stuff like Anal Cunt and Cripple Bastards. ZH's side features Sean (ex Thug/ANB) and Daro (Suffering Mind) playing some old Napalm Death style blasts,what I've heard so far is awesome and I can't wait to hear the rest! This will be released by the mighty Bovine Records in the upcoming weeks, check his blog out in my links for further details. I will have my copies for sale as well for you Westcoasters so look out for that ish. C/S will also be making some appearances on a few comps with some gnarly grinders, as well as a new EP on Utopian Society (probably in the fall). I've been in talks with two of my favorite underground bands too about doing splits, namely The Oily Menace and Scalped.

JFTS "Six Weeks" tape has hit a snag in production (moreso the $$$ portion) but will be released soon enough,you know I wouldn't trip.

I will be featured on two different yet similar releases this upcoming Spring/Summer. First will be the collaboration with Micha of Execution Techniques/Yeung/Sacred Tapes called Gutterpriest. I recorded drums,two bass tracks,guest guitar solos,and some noise before I sent them to him to put more noise, samples, and vocals over. So far its sounding real ugly, like WORLD or something. Out soon on Sacred Tapes,I should have some soon enough. Secondly,I will be on the next Don Garnelli release on To Live A Lie. I am recording drums for Will sometime this week and will be sending them to him soon after. I'd imagine I'll have these soon enough as well. Any further collaborations you would like me to be a part of? Email me and lets work it out!

A part of me (after discovering polycut.com) wants to press a limited lathe of Cogs And Sprockets stuff so far (minus the "Human Error" full length,cause its a full length and "Saturating" because over time and fucked up computers I don't have the files anymore). JFTS "Six Years" tape is in production,the final nail in the coffin for Jesus,Fuck The Sun. Consisting of two sessions,the first tracks recorded in 2005 at Dutch Oven Studios by Craigums (WHN,Love Songs) on their West Coast tour with Greyskull. The last two tracks were the final songs written by the band before it fell into obscurity again,and recorded in a very raw fashion. Should be out fairly soon, gunning for an April release on this one. Props to Brett for helping me out on this bitch. I think he's just stoked after six years (get it?) it's being released.

The demand for older releases of Cogs And Sprockets has always been lingering. Never a huge ordeal or a thing that has left people bated with wet tongues salivating or anything,but occasionally folks will inquire if I still have copies of earlier tapes of yesteryear. When "In The Kingdom Of The Blind" was finally lessening in copies (yep,that's sarcasm),I started putting together the starts of the split. Originally Bastards was asked to share the split,but contact was lost (and still kinda is,if you dudes read this hit me up!) and then it was in talks to share the split with Execution Techniques (which I believe morphed into Yeung,whom I would be willing to share a split with as well! Hit me up if you see this Chris!),but yet again contact fell out. I had always planned on doing something with the White Ninja,but it was going to be a collective fucked-up-remix-of-fucked-up-remixes from him and Surgical Dissection (which did the remix on certain copies of In The Kingdom Of The Blind),so when the C/S side was complete and White Ninja had sent me a song that ran about the same length as my side,it just ended up working out the way it did. It was this release that I decided to look at it as more of a serious thing rather than the fun home and bored side project it started as on the first two tapes. Additionally,the tape was traded and sold significantly faster than any of the previous tapes I had already released. Each cassettes limited to 50 copies,both have been unavailable for a couple years UNTIL NOW.

This collection collects a collective of collectivity. "In The Kingdom Of The Blind" on side one and the split with White Ninja on side two. 17 grinding tracks recorded in two different times and places. Artwork stolen from Fear of God and title stolen from Descendents. A mere 35 copies available too,so don't miss out on these until it all gets released on an extensive discography. Who knows when that will be compiled? I surely don't.

09 – THE NATURALS – Four Songs With Mike Complaining
Hailing from Las Vegas, this power trio delivers four songs (with Mike complaining, I know) of messy and feedback-filled grinding noisecore, not too far from a more “musical” version of Deche-Charge. Nothing too original or exciting, but funny and enjoyable noise indeed, not to mention the fact that they suggest everyone to “Smoke dope and listen to GG Allin”. KVLT.

25 – COGS AND SPROCKETS – Pass The Buck
This band was new to me, but I can see they have a quite wide discography! Anyway, Cogs And Sprockets hails from Las Vegas and play a very cool kind of noisy grindcore, with pounding drums and simple and straight to the point riffing. The vocals span from an acid and rancid scream to a low and guttural growl. Pretty standard stuff, but nicely executed. For die hard fans of old school grindcore.

In Sprockets news,"Man Finds His Place..." probably won't be out until next year,and the "Government Trash/Queen on a Throne" single after that. I do plan on however,busting ass on getting out the tape out soon on Pregnant. Harkening back to the older shorter stuff,"Curse My Bloody Grave" will unleash a fury to scathe the ears of anyone participating. Yea it went down again,sue me. If you like my shorter shit,you will love this once it's out.

Scourged will finish the recording Tuesday,and we have been in talks with some good friends about getting it out on wax. Geoff Bergman did an awesome job on the recording,and in due time you all will be able to hear it for yourselves. I have been listening to the unmixed vocalless songs and they sound so fucking awesome.

I have also been working hard on two new things. On the noisier side of things will be The Polygamist. I am channeling my inner Greg Ginn on this bad boy. It sounds like something that would have been released on Amphetamine Reptile back in the day. Loud,noisy,and annoying. Just the way I like it! Secondly is the well overdue black metal thing I have been kicking around,but now has a better title than the Emperor ripoff one it had initially. Years Old should have a demo out early next year,as I plan on getting some shit done finally. If you like the Norwegian and Swedish black metal of the mid '90s,then keep posted on this shit.

Out now (well,as soon as I get the covers back) is the collected works of Giftgas. Entitled "Closed Casket Funeral",this tape gathers both demos and a couple unreleased tracks. Really aggressive and solid,this band comes across like the best parts of '90s Cleveland. Apartment 213. Integrity. Ringworm. Mix that with a healthy dose of fastcore/powerviolence on the blasty parts and you're almost there. I've heard comparisons to modern stuff like Weekend Nachos,which I guess is pretty cool,but I'd point it more in the direction of what I mentioned previously. Cogs and Sprockets' tracks on both Siege of Power Vol.1 and C-5 Vol. 2 should be out soon. In addition, a song will be featured on Mortville's swansong compilation "Small Doses",followed by an appearance on Panic Inc.'s "Living on Hope Street Vol. 3". Following the release of "Human Error",a few splits will come into fruition. I asked Paranoid Freakout and they seemed into the idea, and I plan on asking Christ in a Bucket and the Sons of Cock to come out of hibernation and puzzle me with their brash mix of Free Jazz, Surf, and Noise. I absolutely love this band.

The Naturals were booked to play their first shows of the year in October,but due to personnel shifts at a local venue and a foreclosing on a house that doubled as a venue, they sadly don't plan on playing any shows as of now. When the shows were booked and ideas were flowing, our fearless leaders decided to go back to a "grassroots" one-take live recording for a cassette release. These ideas continue to be thrown around, and will inevitably see the light of day before the year is through. The "Dildo Boot Pigs" collection should be out before the year is through as well.

Giftgas sadly called it quits, and I will put out a tape featuring both demos and a couple cover songs. This should see release before anything else im sure. Everyone needs to hear their cover of "Chinese Rocks".

E.L.D.,Ostracized,and the Abolished demos are all lost in limbo on my other laptop, and probably will be lost forever. I plan on taking the Ostracized CD-R and making a small run on cassette.

Okay,better late than never. "Temporary Aid" tape came out,found out the first run of copies are fucked up,due to a speeding-up error on the master that trickled down to the first 25 dubs. In addition,the first 25 dubs are the only copies with actual artwork,because soon after this first error,my computer crashed and all the files on it are lost in limbo currently (if you,or anyone you know knows how to repair laptops without having to erase anything,please contact me. there was a shit ton of things on there almost completed and ready to be released). The remaining copies were all packaged in zany artwork,with clippings of weird shit i found upon my move. As far as i can tell,the remaining copies turned out better on the musical side of things too,as I remade the master to dub from. Fuck,I hate this release.

Intellect finally came through and released the 100 in 10 LP compilation. I still have yet to recieve my copy,but that is because it was shipped to my previous address,and I'm waiting on the postal service to catch it,and send it to my new house. Has anyone ever encountered parcels during an address change,and when they send it up to the new house,they re-charge you the shipping costs? That shit just happened to me.

A few things on the horizon in C/S territories...Salk's C-5 vol. 2 should be out real soon. It features what might be the oddest song I have ever written. Check that shit out once it drops,he's a real cool cat. Tony from Mancruel is putting out a compilation with a song of mine as well,called Siege of Power vol. 1. Recorded in the same session as the song on the 100 in 10,these are my personal favorite recordings cause they sound mean as fuck. I've yet to nail that guitar tone again.

May 2010 marked the switch from Utopia Tapes to Utopian Society,which means I am planning some things that aren't tapes. In addition,a number of things were dropped upon the world in small prints,namely the Giftgas 2009 and 2010 demos. If you're a fan of "Systems Overload" breakdowns with the speed of "Shackled Down",then this might be right up your alley. I sing on both demos,and they turned out pretty mean. I tried to get my DeNunzio on. Hit me up for copies of either demo,as I have an order of tapes coming. Another thing to be released soon is the 2 track EP from Ostracized. This is some raging guitar-less sludged down MITB worship,recalling the days when Kenyon was still around. A small run of 3" CDRs have been floating around,and the tape will be out once they arrive. The last run of The Naturals' newest Ep "Get Off My Train" got finished a couple days ago,but unfortunate for me the cover art is on the same laptop that I complained about earlier. So yes,those have wacky artwork as well. Also in Naturals news,the compilation tape "Dildo Boot Pigs" should be out soon. 100s of songs,unreleased shit,live shit,shit already put out,comp tracks,rehearsal tracks,freestyles,remixes,fuck. It's gonna be quite a listen,and I guarantee whoever gets this won't finish the whole thing.

whats good my damies? so the C/S vs White Ninja split is officially out of print. ah yes,I know how hard that is to understand. you'll get over it. or who knows? maybe some more copies will resurface? unless I am crazy,i believe Death,Agony,and Screams has some and Beat The Meat might too,but you'd have to ask them. actually, the White Ninja himself might have a few left,but that recluse is hard to get a hold of.

next up on the list will be the next Sprockets E.P. entitled "Temporary Aid in the Uncureable Sickness of the Mind". longer than the last two efforts combined,and longer than the first tape too, this new bombardment is more "focused" and "executed" and other words people try to use to review things and make it sound like vast improvements over the last thing. granted,I did take some new approaches to my mixing and made everything sound better (HOLY SHIT I PUT MY FOOT IN MY MOUTH. THIS SHIT IS SUPPOSED TO BE RAW!). now that this one is done,it's time to dust off the ole cobwebs and work on the LP! suffice it to say it probably won't come out on LP format,it is still considered a full length release. I mean come on,Assuck's "Misery Index" is like 10 minutes long,but that's a full length!

between the next release and the last one will be two compilation appearances on two awesome labels. the first one will be the C-5 vol.2 on DxAxSx and the 100 in 10 LP on Intellect. very odd pairing but that's what makes it interesting. six new longer, albeit ferocious blasts of suprisingly intense grindcore when considered it's just one guy doing it all. painful shrieks couple with churning lows laying the groundwork for some slightly unfamiliar things (clevo-style mid range grunts and nicke andersson caveman howls) while the guitars spin and gnash above the blastbeats that fire like rounds going off. white ninja's side is some of the ugliest gabber/breakcore i have heard in quite some time. having no problem sampling death metal and grindcore bands,this swordsman creates harsh sub bass contractions to deafen your ears before the explosions of intricate drum loops are chopped up,sped up,slowed down,ran through the gears,and vomited upon a nightmare of bombs bursting. this is as gross as it gets. guaranteed results are played through a subwoofer.

This is a track off of the upcoming split cassette with Execution Techniques (some of the most crippling bleak stuff I have heard) that will be out hopefully before the end of the year. Not sure on pressing info or any of that,but once it arrives to me I will sell them through various mediums. Notice the first four notes in the song,for it is my homage to a vegas grindcore relic,The Weirding Way (well I guess it could be an homage to Dune or Toto,but whos concerned really?).

In a sea of technical blurrs,you fight to break the barrier to stick your head out and breathe a little. Usually,the current will pull you back under and flail you around until youve gone through the motions long enough to make you want to never step foot in her ocean again. For years and years I have been trying to escape this sea,only to find myself pulled back in by the undertow.

This sea I speak of is,yes...yes...death metal. I mean don't get me wrong,I still love some quality death metal. Exploiting Dysfunction is one of my favorite records of all time. I still appreciate the pound of a Dripping or a Wormed or something,but come on. I was driving with my sister and her boyfriend and he loves this stuff. I couldn't tell the stuff apart! I made the efforts to go watch some live death metal too,in the over-the-top ridiculousness of both Slaughterbox and Viraemia. Neither could encompass the brute force their records provide. I mean neither band sounded heavy and with this 10 string bass guy and his 18 6" tweeter cabs and his counterpart drummer that only used one tom,it's childs play to say the least. (editor's note:the only band allowed to use one tom is TORCHE.)

So,in light of all this death metal tirade,I ask this. Where has all the magic gone? I mean come on,how many of these kids have heard Exit-13? Dare I ask,how many have even heard the Corporate Death compilation?? I fail to recognize the fact that they don't know any better,cause I'm still actively pursuing the finest in music,and I'm sure it won't cease for quite some time. But then again I have been in print quoting Whitney Houston saying "I believe the children are our future",but I'm starting to think that the future is going to be a bunch of knuckleheads dancing to Crabcore at their high school reunions. At least theres videos like this one that I can put on,sit for a half an hour,and completely enjoy myself.

FIRST UP TO BAT,this isnt even that bad. really,it isnt. the song is totally gay. the video is gayer. maybe as a child,i feared a serpent creature funnelling its way through my shower head,or getting in a furnace fight with a balding fat guy. or maybe my strongest worry was that i would turn into a creature of avian descent once i got fed up with my job. i wish i had such freedoms,now i just bottle it up and hate my life for giving me shitty jobs.

So apparently Xtreem Music out of Spain has trumped Throne in the Spanish label that I wish I had pull in enough to get the records sent to me cause I'm so trill. Alright music post. Been a minute heh. Its a little ironic that I'm listening to Boogie Down Productions "By All Means Necessary" as I post this. Not that it reminds me of this record in any way at all,but more of a sense that BDP in their grass roots 4/4 primitive loops and KRS yelling at you is the polar opposite of this freakout. Yea,its more than a record. Easily some of the most insane minutes in my entire collection. It begins with a quiet piano introduction...could be anything...anyone...something pleasant...I could play this for my pep-pep and he'd enjoy it*...then all of a sudden SAXOPHONE/XYLOPHONE/BASS/DRUMS EXPLOSION OUT OF NOWHERE on a level only ever measured in Frank Zappa songs (this dude gives Ruth Underwood a run for her mallets for sure) and then right back to the quaint soft piano that guided us in from the start,cradling you and making you feel comfortable after that bombardment WHICH COMES RIGHT BACK AT YOU TEN TIMES HARDER. Somewhere between Frank's finest Apostrophe/Over-Nite Sensation and Mahavishnu Orchestra - Birds of Fire grooves melded with one of the smoothest pianists this side of Cecil Taylor. It gets funky. It gets up and down scales with a ferocity. It swells down just to bring you right back up. Intense. Stupefying. A damn shame that this 19 year old nutjob left the music scene soon after this record was released. Or maybe not...he never got to reach the '80s. Synthesizers. Dayglo. Commercialism. Its a harsh reality that too many good ones fell to.

*My pep-pep (or Grandpa Pete if you wanna get down to brass tacks and quit using Tim & Eric quotes) isn't exactly how I portrayed him in the pretentious blog posting. From what I remember,he was a Jazz man himself,with a gargantuan record collection. This was years ago mind you,when I was a tot stranded in the slums of Chicago with Mancow Muller warping my brain and the first time I bought Black Flag "Damaged". Now Im trailing. He's not a sissy like most pep-peps. I painted the picture of textbook music listeners is what I was trying to get at. My pep-pep is rad.

2nd Annual Progressive Rock Video Post

This time around I present you with THREE amazing videos with some of the oddest compositions i can find. Im gonna start with the most intense of the three,an almost free-jazz introduction that blows into some heavy shit. Upon discovering this video,fate must've loved me or something because the record store I was working at had the first two National Health LPS for $1.99 or so and the same copies marked up at like $12 or so (due to its import label and a fucking shitty money hungry gay of a boss who loved sigur ros wayyyyy too much) so I popped a switch-a-roo and got the cleaner records in the cheap covers :]. fuck that guy. I wanna give props to a buddy of mine Ian who showed me a bunch of prog (actually he's responsible for all three of these videos) cause hes the man. Second up would be Area from Italy,who plays almost a jazz-rock conglomerate not too far off from a Mahavishnu Orchestra or Frank Zappa. I wanted to post L'internazionale but I couldnt find a full length video and that'd be wack to put up 1 minute of it. I recently got a studio and a live LP from these guys in a trade I just did (thanks Colin) and the live record hasnt left my turntable in a good while. Last up would be the only band I dont own on LP yet (but goddamnit I'm gunning for one,even if its the picture disc reissue) and Im dying to own,Trettioariga Kriget,which means "thirty years war",which is pretty intense. Intense enough to warrant all those commas and grammatical errors hahaha. The track kicks off in a FZ "King Kong"/Edgar Winter "Frankenstein" mid-break sorta swing,before the singer pummels you with his falsettos. Then it cools off to a slick groove before jumping back up. Great song,and a great record I would imagine.

Videos That Used To Freak Me Out At An Early Age

Years and years ago,when I was a tot,growing up under the wing of my father musically had already warped my terribly young nubile mind. He was a staunch metal fan (still is,although he leans more towards Dream Theater and the blues now),raising me on a diet of Anthrax and Megadeth. I remember when I got my first boombox,packaged in the box was a tape of Rust in Peace and Extreme II:Pornograffitti,but my Moms was bummed on the parental advisory sticker on it so she made my dad take me to take it back. Good call Mom heh. Being raised by a man who owned the Iron Maiden discography (er tapeography,this was a while ago ya know),he would tune in to Headbangers Ball every time and guess who was there with him? Granted I can take with me an appreciation for fun Lizzy Borden videos,and the occasional Lita Ford jam (even at a young age I could remember getting hot on that video),but being so young and naive could have its way with you as well.

The one that sticks out vividly,and what inevitably spawned my love for the man Id be willing to bet,is King Diamond "Welcome Home". I mean the shrieks were much too intense for a guy who thought Grim Reaper and Bruce Dickinson had the highest ones he had heard. Then you have the scene with the good ole King torturing the helpless old lady. Im not sure if it was my poor subconscious fucking with me,or if it was my Pops taking jabs at me and mentioning something about him pushing her down the stairs,but that scared the shit out of me. I would dip out the room like a fuckin track star once i heard that first "graaaaandmaaaaaaaaaa!". It took me several weeks to finally muster up the balls to watch it,but I have my good ole Dad to thank for that. He was pretty good at forcing me against my will to watch that shit.

Next would have to be what is the most ludicrous of them all. Soley based on what would come to be found out later on in life,and how,dare I say it,gay it really was all along. It all started with an open chord playing eighth notes and that fucking catwalk. Goddamn I'd never go see what was going on in the kitchen with Moms faster than after hearing that. Yet another video I was forced to sit and watch,cause deep down I was hyped on the song. I'd get to the part where the db reader is going out of control and cup my hands over my eyes,so I could still hear the jam. After countless eye covering chump moves,the gauntlet was thrown to watch the remainder of the video,and yet I knew what was gonna happen I stepped up to the challenge and kept them open. As brutal as a head explosion can be,you cant help but feel like a pussy once the pants fall off. It could be a homophobic thing way back when that the pants falling off was what really scared me,but that couldnt be true by any means.

Lords Of Light - Energy

Continuing on this journey of shit that is so weird its unbearably resonant,I present to you the 2nd lp (and better one in my opinion) of the Lords of Light. The first thing I heard from these guys was the split with Iron Lung and thought this band was retarded. I liked the grindy stuff,but they broke into this weird,wimpy,generic sounding stuff (see:a man will come) and wrote them off as a shit band. I dunno who came up with the blurb whether it was 625 or Life Is Abuse,but it mentioned something along the lines of "too proggy to be powerviolence,too powerviolence to be considered prog rock" and from that point on I had to hear this myself. Little did I know I was going to unlock a world of charm and magic. In the short span of the record you get gruff barks,blasting spurts,quirky catchy toe tapping weird parts that remind me of pavement,and the best part of all:butt rock songs. Complete with falsetto howls. Yea I said howls. Sooner than later I'll post the Electric Sun EP and split with Electric Eye (very electric indeed) but for now,join the Lords on their conquest against Zzarraxx.

Frank Zappa - Baby Snakes (Complete Soundtrack)

This post is of my favorite era of Mach II of Mr. Zappa's amazing career (well,some can argue that post "you are what you is" is going the way of the buffalo per se',but thats neither here nor there. especially in the middle of my Zappa post damnit.). Originally,the Baby Snakes soundtrack consisted of an edit of the title track (which I never got,because that intro gets you going),paired up with 6 of the live tracks from the movie. Sure,you get the awesome Bozzio crooned love story about the guitar player from Angel (Punky's Whips),but no City of Tiny Lights? No King Kong with the human trombone solo? None of that mind-blowing drum solo before Disco Boy??? Dare I call it blasphemy,but I'd rather call it fucking stupid. No diss to Frank or any of the Zappa Family Trust (Im going to ZPZ again this year hehe,don't hate me Dweezil <3) but I stick by the words I chose. So what do you do when you have a pretty good reciever slaved out to your laptop? You dub down the entire movie and make a Baby Snakes Sdtk Redux. Everything in its completion is here (and in decent quality nonetheless) to make your eardrums bust several nuts. You can thank me later kids.

1st Annual Progressive Rock Video Post

As good as a long 25 minute B-side-spanning prog opus can be on a record (or an mp3 if you wanna get greasy over it),it is pale in comparison to the magnificence of a great prog rock band video. Its evident all over any channel (or even youtube) that bands dont make videos like they used to. Dont get me wrong,I appreciate a humorous video as much as the next asshole does,its just badass to see what they chose to use to represent their efforts. In addition,I plan on making posts like these for a wide spectrum of shit,whether badass,humorous,a combination of the two,or just flat out embarrasing (see:grim reaper's videography),I just decided to start with two of my favorite videos of all time,one of which i discovered not that long ago,but adore as much as an old relic.
